moomin candy moomin candy... and a little story

so last week my lovely boyfriend whose amazing work can be found here http://www.philiplackmaker.com/ came to visit me- alas he lives all the way in london and i live in bath- and he brought me this lovely candy tin pictuered at the top. but he was also a lucky man cos i hand made a little story book for him called "taxidermy and the bees" thats what the pictures i have posted before were leading up to.. so here are a few snippets from the book- in which a little girl called olive befriends a lonely bee called beryl.

oh wow, I am so happy you actually finished the book!! That is the kind of project I would dream about doing but never actually finish...

Anyway, I hope that this weekend I will have a chance to upload more pictures from the exhibition about all the different exchanges.

When I get back to the US, you can send me one of your drawings and then choose from what I have left from the exhibition and I will send it to you and add the exchange to the blog!!

I will definitely be in touch at the end of August and give you my address to send the picture. Can you e-mail me at h.art.ajukuxchange@gmail.com so that I can e-mail you my address later?

Thanks so much!!
